  During this five-month internship at the data science department of HTG, I investigated the possibility of novel machine learning models outperforming traditional forecasting techniques. I specifically looked at predictive models for the monthly number of sales of various products. During this internship I trained long short-term memory neural networks and compared their forecasting accuracy with ARIMA models.
