  Part Preparation, Board StuffingPurposeThe purpose of this procedure is to provide a system for parts preparation and board stuffing and hand soldering and back loading of parts are done to proper specifications.Responsibilities Part preparation is done, when necessary, as a first step in the production process. Parts that need to be prepared for the final assembly are allocated to specific personnel by the manager. Production personnel must be trained on the equipment necessary for part preparation. Some equipment: Pneumatic lead cut and former, Pneumatic Hand tools, Hand Crimping Tool, Hand Cutters, Nuts Drivers, Wire Strippers and Screw Drivers.After parts preparation is complete, the parts are returned to the kit and completed steps are checked off the form. This is also the point where masking is done to the boards that have components that The rest of the boards are sent through the wave solder machine with periodic checks made throughout the soldering process. The boards are now ready for cleaning.
