I conducted detailed investigations on issues regarding politics and governance. I also set up the new sister organization, Basic Fact Check which is aiming to become an IFCN certified fact-checking network. The work was remote and required me to maintain communication and work with team members from the US and UK. I wrote articles, updated the Twitter handle and storyboarded videos. My work at Fact Focus included working with large datasets to synthesize meaningful information. I spent three months as a teacher and one month as the chief coordinator for this school that is run by former Chief Justice Jawwad S Khwaja. in my experience, the school faces structural and fundamental hurdles to education which can only be overcome if the environment is made conducive to learning and if transparency is ensured. currently these measures are not underway and there is a general lack of political will in the same direction.
