This internship was a part of my undergraduate course in Food Science and Nutrition Management. This opportunity was provided when the infamous pandemic situation of COVID-19 was at its peak. The internship took place on a virtual mode. There were 3 students from the entire batch were selected as interns under this organization. During the internship, we interacted with the founder of the organization, Mr. Ritesh Bawari. The sessions conducted on each day was different from the other day… Show more This internship was a part of my undergraduate course in Food Science and Nutrition Management. This opportunity was provided when the infamous pandemic situation of COVID-19 was at its peak. The internship took place on a virtual mode. There were 3 students from the entire batch were selected as interns under this organization. During the internship, we interacted with the founder of the organization, Mr. Ritesh Bawari. The sessions conducted on each day was different from the other day. During the internship we learnt certain concepts of diet planning, management of case studies, strategies to a good patient counselling, critical assessment of a research paper based on our knowledge on nutrition and dietetics. We also took the opportunity of writing articles on interested topics. My topics were, Sugar alcohol and Ayurvedic Nutrition. Towards the end of the internship we got an opportunity to interact with a cancer patient and planned a diet for him also suggested few lifestyle modifications , breathing techniques etc. It was a wonderful experience working with this organization as my skills were put to test and new skills were developed.
