Tony is a rock. I was fortunate to have been introduced to him and his wonderful company, Cooney Carey, nearly 10 years ago. His knowledge and wisdom have guided me and my business through many stormy seas. I would have been lost without him. I have always felt safe & protected because I know I am in solid hands. He is a gentleman, and a consummate professional. He calls a spade a spade. He is straight up and honest and doesn't pull any punches. That's what you want. I couldn't recommend him any higher.

Tony Carey (B.Comm. FCA, FMAAT, MMII, CMC) OUR BUSINESS—DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY At first glance, Cooney Carey is a thriving professional services firm with a highly qualified staff of c.40, offering expert Auditing, Taxation, Company Secretarial and Business Advisory Services. And that’s where any similarities with other accountancy firms end. Our client-relationships are strong and long-lasting. They’re built on trust, time spent and a combination of technical excellence and creative thinking that help our clients grow and prosper. Our partners and management team are not just the most qualified - they also share a passion for the business we’re in. They’re proactive in finding imaginative, can-do solutions to difficult problems and will always go the extra mile for our clients – well beyond 9 to 5. Our people are the reason our clients stay with us, and why they recommend us to others. It’s taken almost 35 years to get here, but it means we know ourselves very well. We know that our size makes us nimble, reactive and more likely to know what’s on our clients’ minds when they get in touch. We know what we’re exceptionally good at, and we won’t offer anything less. Tony is managing partner and co-founder of Cooney Carey. (Hugh rest in peace), he has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and business advisory services. His specialist areas include negotiation, strategic planning, corporate recovery, financial investments and project funding. Tony’s clients particularly value his straight-talking, can-do attitude. At times of crisis they know they can rely on him to stick with them and get the job done.
