As an experienced custom manufacturer for Mining and process industries, Sazokar aimed for a strategic move to Oil & Gas market sector in order to improve its revenue & profitability, and ensure business sustainability.• Acquired engineering HR, and mobilized the company with required codes and standards such as ASME, BS, API and TEMA; and design software such as PV Elite, HTFS and Tank.• Worked closely with Management, Production, QC and Procurement departments and improved company processes in line with the requirement of Oil & Gas market sector.• Led a team of five full-time design engineers and draftsmen, and one part-time welding engineer.• Reviewed, verified and approved design calculations, FE analysis, drawings and MTOs for variety of pressure vessels and storage tanks.• Performed detail design for three cold service spherical tanks including code calculations in accordance with ASME Sec VIII Div. 2, and worked closely with client and with an ASME PE and got approval from both parties.• Prepared field installation procedures for spherical storage tanks including Erection, Welding, NDT, PWHT and Hydrostatic testing according to ASME codes and project specifications.• Managed several projects (up to 4M$ each) for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Sugar industries.• Prepared several EPC tender packages for Desalting Units, Flare Systems, and Tank Farms in close collaboration with world-class European partners.We proudly achieved all the objectives defined in the company strategic plan. I started my career with a world-class custom manufacturer, which fabricates Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Heat Exchangers, and Industrial Boilers. I worked with designing and fabrication of variety of pressure equipment for an MTBE plant project.• Participated in detail designing of 35 Pressure Vessels, 12 Towers, and 10 high pressure Reactors.• Performed code calculation for pressure equipment according to ASME Section VIII Div. 1 using manual calculation, customized programs and PV Elite software. • Designed Storage Tanks according to API 650 using in-house programs and TANK software. • Prepared General assembly and detail drawings for pressure vessels including Shell & Head, Nozzle & Manhole, Support, Lifting Lugs and Ladder & Platform drawings using AutoCAD software.• Prepared Material Take Off (MTO), and created Bill of Materials (BOM) for pressure equipment.• Revised project documents, and provided team leader with regular progress and status reports. • Led a team of two draftsmen and checked all drawings before issuing for client approval.• Provided technical support to Tendering and Procurement departments.• Visited fabrication shop in a regular basis and participated in technical meetings.Employee training was a part of our company’s policy, and I benefited from participating in ASME Sec.
