Performs complex drafting assignments related to civil structures and electric transmission, distribution applications. • Attend project site visits and Provide more than 100 field verification packages and complete as-built revisions as needed as well meeting with client and presentation of the package. • Preliminary design for projects ranging from 12kV to 138kV to include planning and design for new lines, relocations, upgrades and fiber optic attachment and following standards and guidelines from San Diego Gas & Electric with PLSCADD • Prepare 90% design documents according to guidelines from San Diego Gas & Electric for both transmission and distribution with full PLSCADD model. • Prepare issue for construction (IFC) documents for the corrective maintenance program (CMP) for San Diego Gas & Electric • Prepare design model and documents for CMP as-built projects according to recent survey data to quality check completed jobs. • Prepare conceptual routes, layouts, preliminary designs as well as detailed drafting utilizing established guidelines and specifications for transmission and distribution lines using AUTOCAD. • Completed staged distribution engineering deliverables, such as Preliminary Design (30% stage), Detailed Design (60%), and Issued for Construction (IFC) for ESH covered conductors for FIRM program.
