The best part of my fellowship was establishing connections with legislators, lobbyists, executives, and a wide variety of prominent stakeholders to shar how my research showed a disparity in the distribution of education funding in Florida. My research required in-depth analysis of budgets, many FOIA requests, and the synthesizing of complicated information into succinct, easy-to-read reports. This work led to a direct impact on Florida legislation. The best part of my fellowship was establishing connections with legislators, lobbyists, executives, and a wide variety of prominent stakeholders to shar how my research showed a disparity in the distribution of education funding in Florida.
