Specific Responsibilities & Duties - Produce high-level estimates (Preliminary - Detailed Design) using Cost X as the main estimating tool to present detailed Quantities/Rates/Reports for our clients. - Preparing detailed schedule of quantities (SOQ) for various projects ranging from residential, industrial, and commercial projects using Cost X as the main estimating tool. - Preparing and maintaining rates libraries (material cost sheet, labor constant sheet) on an excel spreadsheet. - Preparing rates library using CSV spreadsheets and importing them into Cost X. - Produce and prepare monthly progress reports. - Produce and prepare drawdown reports - Process and assess payment claims and prepare payment schedules on behalf of our clients. - Being the Engineer to the Contract Representative I use Procore to respond to RFI's and issue Client Instructions to the contractors. - I deal with clients, contractors, and consultants directly in person - I assess variation on-site - I individually prepare/organize or attend site/design/service/PCG meetings and prepare meeting minutes and distribute this to all consultants/contractors involved. - I analyze tender submission documents from contractors/sub-contractors where I will do a full analysis which will involve checking prices against budgets and tags to make sure everything is covered and right specifications have been captured.
