Worked as a L3 Technical Specialist/SME to support Inter-capital Fibre Operation and Fibre Project. Managed Remote Fibre Monitoring System (RFMS) of a large Fibre Network (25000Km+) that has foot print Australia wide. Had significant involvement with change management and major incident management process and development. Developed training materials for wide and specific audience/ new starters. Conducted trainings and mentored new starters on a regular basis to help them achieve their full potentials. Had extensive involvements in large scale Fibre and Transmission project delivery, worked as a major stakeholder to ensure fibre quality , standards, future scalability etc. are met. Was involved in end to end Detailed Design of VicRoads and Transurban communication and intelligent transport system in various projects. Notable project completions was Westgate Tunnel Project (WGTP) communications design for VicRoads. It was an intensive and challenging role as communication designing for an intelligent transport system requires a wide variety of inputs , onsite survey, research for suitable network devices such as switch/router/PON devices, surveillance equipment etc to meet the client needs, incorporate occupational health and safety, suitable and safe site selection for roadside cabinet/equipment installation, what not, imagine walking inside the comms tunnel of large bridge as a part of site survey! This role has been an opportunity to act as a designer and an implementation come project engineer. Its really been a very challenging role given reviewing third party design during implementation and network construction phase is never easy due to so many variables, for an example, change in landscapes due to missing network elements, change of power source, major road/infrastructure works, unfit conduits, design errors etc. are just few to name. My role was to bring viable balance in to these disruptions by teaming up with network technicians, field scoper's, civil constructors, community and land access advisor, data engineer, project and construction managers to address the design variations, re-design, liaison with clients for approval, incorporate new schedules of rates into billing system and in the final detailed design, support the completion team with network auditing etc..Apart from that, provided remote support to the field technician's to resolve the blocker promptly, supported design manager and project managers with necessary reporting and data analytics to track the project progress with ease.
