Amr and I worked together at HAS for a short time and I was impressed with his skills and knowledge of design management and project controls. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
Perry J. Miller, AAE, IAP
Amr was brought on to HAS to help standardize and improve the PMO for HAS. Part of that position required him to step in as a program manager for the Hobby Airport Expansion, which included multiple projects and many stakeholders, all working to a short schedule with a lot of outstanding issues. Amr made quick work of the task, bringing the right people into the room, building relationships with the contractors and making sure everyone was pulling their own weight, while keeping an eye on the completion date promised to the primary tenant. Amr injected himself into the procurement process to accelerate additional contracts, ensured contractors were getting paid on a timely basis, and kept an open line of communication with all the contractors to ensure they addressed issues as they were identified and not at some point to be determined later. He delivered, and the expansion projects within his purview were completed on time. His ability to coordinate multiple A/E’s and contractors on short schedules with tight budgets in operating environments, all while managing stakeholders expectations and ensuring solid relationships throughout, makes him a top tier PM/CM. I highly recommend him for aviation expansion work.

PMO | Governance | Claims & Disputes Consultant
-
Jun 2019 - Present
I have been supporting multiple clients in the US and abroad in the development and implementation of high performance organizations and profitable project delivery in the aviation infrastructure and federal sectors through continuous improvement, right-sized governance, leadership training and mentoring of new and long-time employees at various levels. Specifics include capital program change, risk, and claims management, people, process, and technology PMO development, cost and earned value management controls, and baseline/update planning & scheduling. I have led a team in its implementation of state of the art baggage handling systems in a major US airport for one of the worlds largest airlines on behalf of the world leader in electro-mechanical solutions, a critical US Air Force program in the South Pacific, and the NSF in its implementation of data collection sites across the country in support of the NEON project.
