This organization has a sole focus on serving urban communities with environmental issues. I worked with a group of people to find a solution to the currently high exposure to hazardous chemicals from waste management facilities in low-income urban communities in Jersey City, the lack thereof environmental education, and several other concerns for seeking environmental justice for Jersey City. With this organization I mostly did tabling events in which I was able to describe the companies' ideals and intended purpose. There were several events in which I was able to assist with attendance of children during a program. In another program this organization provided, I was able to organize activities for students after school as well as present more information about Leave-No-Trace principles and the organizations ideals to the attendees. Volunteer Tour Guide

There are occasional events that are held in the Apple Tree House where people who may attend will receive a tour from one of the guides to catch a glimpse of the history of the House. I recall information I know from the time period and line the stories up for the Van Wagenen family, who have occupied the home from 1600s to the 1800s.
