Working on ITC Infant Toddler and Care-givers Mobility Policy for State under BvLF in collaboration with WRI. Core Team member in curating Pune's first Pedestrians Day and with Designing various road safety events and Pedestrianisation of Laxmi Road and also working along several other Urban Mobility and Road Safety initiatives and advocacy to government authorities.

Working on Urban design project based on Road Safety and Sustainable urban transport addressing the issues of vulnerable road users like Pedestrians, Cyclist and Two-wheeler.• Crosswalk Safe Project - Junction re-design to improve the Road safety issues of pedestrians and vulnerable road users like kids and elderlies on street junctions based on the Pune Urban street design guidelines and other resources.▪ Conducting strategic surveys, Documentation and Analysis, Preparing junction design interventions in Pune city’s 4 neighborhoods with stakeholders engagement.▪ Two of the junction’s redesign proposals were successfully executed in 2019.▪ Conducted a collaborated work with Urban95 initiative by BvLF in Pune. • Midblock Cross-Safe Project – Strategically identifying mid-block pedestrians crossing locations on 100kms divided arterial streets of Pune city’s and preparing safer by design templates for implementation to achieve safety for pedestrians, improving and advancing the accessibility within the streets network under Pune Road Safety Campaign.▪ Prepared strategic interventions for 1 identified streets in first phase for safer Mid-Block Pedestrians Crossings and are scheduled for Pilot implementation in 2021.• Other Design Projects – Prepared urban design interventions in other initiatives like SUM NET and Covid-19 MoHUA recommendation. ▪ Prepared Street Design interventions for Nehru road in Ramgarh City of Jharkhand under SUM Net project in 2020. ▪ Prepared Covid-19 safer by design interventions for Pune’s Laxmi Road and City Bus stops and proposed it to concerned authorities 2020.Policy Framework –Coordination with CEE Organization in school zone safety auditand design toolkit for infrastructural improvement and upgrade in school’s vicinity for the safety of children in Pune’s neighborhoods through "iRAP Safety Rating Tool" in 2019.• Advocacy and Coordination Show less
