April did a great job with working with students and families. Her enthusiasm for the school and her College of Charleston experience was evident in her work. She was always willing to help with extra projects and work in the office after the long days of orientation. As a first year intern, she is very dependable and always willing to pick up any new task or duty. Her smile and energy was always present in the office and in the field. As a second year intern, April’s main responsibility was being the family orientation coordinator. She was a great leader and coordinated the programs for families with professionalism and presented to them during the family orientation session about student life and getting involved at the College of Charleston. She also was on the residence life and housing information panel and coordinated the small group discussions with families and CofC faculty and staff. She supervised the other interns working with the families and helped them grow in their skills and ability to answer the many questions that families have about the College of Charleston. April is an asset to the College of Charleston and the Office of New Student Programs. April’s enthusiasm about her College of Charleston experience and her ability to share her enthusiasm with the students and parents is an asset to the program. Her work ethic is outstanding and appreciated by the office leadership.

April is a very dedicated young lady, a really good asset to have. Follows instruction very well, and excels at everything she sets her mind to do. I see her going far in life and career.
