April was one of the most dedicated, creative, and hard working editors that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. There were many times that she came in early and stayed late just to make sure that the fine cuts were done with enough time near the deadline for emergency changes. On several occasions, during bad weather, she stayed at a local hotel to ensure that she could make it in to work the next morning. As the person doing QCs I was always pleased when the show that was delivered to my desk originated from her. The reasons are the edits were always tight, the chroma and luma levels were within NTSC/ATSC specs, and the effects had no errors. April is also very knowledgeable with Avid Media Composer. Anytime I had a question about a feature or an error I could go to her and she would either tell me how to fix it and sometimes a better way to accomplish what I was trying to do.
