During this field school we teach students how to archaeologically excavate burials. The methods utilized are an attempt at preserving remains while also being able to provide as much detail about the deceased as possible. In addition to the archaeological context we also must instruct students on maintaining the forensic context as the remains are all unidentified some of whom did not die of natural causes.
