During my tenure at HSBC, I played a pivotal role in designing and developing RESTful API services to support Retail banking customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I collaborated on the entire API lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance. Key Contributions: Developed and deployed RESTful API services using SpringBoot on Pivotal Cloud Foundry and AWS platforms. This enabled seamless integration and communication between systems, ensuring efficient operations. Utilized Kubernetes for container orchestration and leveraged AWS services like Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3 to establish scalable and reliable infrastructure. Demonstrated leadership by overseeing the complete API lifecycle, and implementing automated tests that led to a remarkable 40% increase in code quality and overall system reliability. Proactively implemented measures to prevent API incidents, resulting in a significant 30% decrease in reported incidents. This ensured uninterrupted service delivery to users and enhanced customer satisfaction. Actively participated in proof-of-concept (POC) projects focused on automating and innovating daily operational tasks. These initiatives drove efficiency and productivity within the organization. In addition to my technical contributions, I provided exceptional support to both internal and external customers. This involved troubleshooting issues and addressing inquiries related to API functionality and usage.I was responsible for ensuring that APIs were scalable, reliable, and high-performing, using tools like Jenkins for CI/CD and monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues in real time. Also provided support to our customers, both internal and external. This included troubleshooting issues and answering questions about API functionality and usage. Show less
