I performed my internship under the proficient Dr. Dominico Coviello who is the director of the biobank. In my second internship I was involved in the culture of the different types of cell lines, worked with the Prenatal diagnosis team, NGS (Next Generation Sequencing), Qualitative PCR techniques. I also got an opportunity to work on the Legal and Ethical issues involved with the privacy of the genetic data of the donors.
