I taught grade 4 and 5 in a low income private school in Hyderabad. in my time with the kids i was able to achieve considerable academic growth along with building essential values and self awareness in the kids . I also worked with the other stakeholders , Principal of the school and Parents of my student. I conducted sessions for the teachers of the school to abolish corporal punishment . I also implemented the structure of regular PTMs in all classes of the school .

Teach for India, Fellow Advisor (June 2015– April 2016) Mentored a team of 15 fellows as Fellow Advisor supporting their personal and professional growth resulting inincreased student outcome in class. Selected amongst the city fellows to share my journey and experiences from 1 st year of my fellowship with theincoming new fellows of the following cohort. Facilitated large and small groups of fellows during internal meetings and sessions.Teach for India, Fellow (May 2014– April 2016) Taught 23 under performing kids in 1 st year of my fellowship made a growth of 0.85 years of growth in 5 months. Taken up initiatives in school, where we organised sessions for teachers against corporal punishments. Piloted PTMs for all non- Teach for India classrooms in school Achieved exponential growth in reading comprehension and math levels in class. Raised the culture of achievement in class on the student vision scale from destructive to passionate and joyful,on a metric used by Teach for India to measure growth in classroom.
