I thoroughly enjoyed having Aoife as my supervisor during my placement at Pavee Point Traveller and Roma Centre! Aoife supervised me in Sept.-Dec. 2016 and Nov. 2017-July 2018 where I worked with the Primary Health Care Traveller Project (PHCTP). During my placement, Aoife was always very organised, supportive and encouraging. Aoife always had my best interests at heart, encouraging me to take part in any and all opportunities. Aoife was not just a supervisor, but rather a mentor - sharing her wisdom, knowledge and experience with me to help me grow not only professionally, but also personally. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had Aoife as a supervisor at such an early stage in my career.

I have had the privilege to have worked with Aoife multiple times since 2013. The first being as she undertook research on the TransParenCI group for TENI. Aoife has great interpersonal skills and as an interview subject, Aoife ensured that I felt comfortable and really engaged me in the research. She showed a huge amount of energy and skill in how she carried out this research. Aoife has always been fantastic to work with. A key project we worked on together during my time in TENI was a Trans 101 document aimed at Irish Travellers. Aoife was always extremely enthusiastic, efficient and professional throughout the project. Aoife was prompt in getting back about changes and we had a really positive working relationship. Aoife would be an asset to any workplace and I hope to work alongside her again in the future. She is extremely passionate, skilled and driven.
