      I coordinated all aspects of the Group’s environmental systems including; Carbon footprinting, IPPC licenses, sustainability performance, energy management projects etc. I was the nominated person responsible for Bord Bias Origin Green Charter. This involved writing up and submitting a comprehensive sustainability plan for the group and individual sites.I conducted monthly site environmental audits.One of my achieved targets was zero waste to landfill by 2015 which involved waste mapping and redirection according to the waste hierarchy. On a weekly basis I generated a detailed energy KPI for the group to create awareness and encourage efficiency around electricity, water, gas, oil and waste.I utilised both SiCa and ResourceKraft software for live energy monitoring and reporting.Monthly projects were designed by myself for each site to improve our environmental performance and general sustainability. Examples of these projects include consumable reduction, supplier mapping and refrigeration efficiency regimes. I was directly involved in waste permitting more recently in the use of the Anaerobic digestor plant at Foyle Proteins.Part of my role wass to create an environmentally aware workforce where all staff levels were constantly updated and encouraged to adopt more efficient and sustainable practices throughout. I was involved in environmental related aspects of supplier approval and procurement.I completed quarterly and annual environmental audits to third parties e.g. SEAI, NIEA, EPA.I monitored ISO 14001 compliance onsite. In 2016 I updated all 6 sites Environmental Management Systems in line with the new ISO 14001 standard and regained certification. In Foyle Donegal, I drafted, implemented and managed ISO 50001 a comprehensive Energy Management System for the site.
