      • Dec 2017 - Jan 2018

Undertook work experience with the literary agent Jon Elek, reviewing submitted fiction proposals and manuscripts. Sometimes I had to offer preliminary feedback advising on whether I thought a proposal was meritorious; on other occasions, I was required to give focused structural feedback on the plot rundown for a book trilogy and proofread manuscripts which Jon had already marked out as worth investing in. Whilst much of my work was able to be carried out remotely, I also met with Jon at the United Agents agency building in central London, which afforded me an initial inside view into the publication process.
