I have contributed to maintaining pool safety during shifts. During shifts when I am head lifeguard, I am responsible for writing the rotation and ensuring that end of shift jobs are completed so the pool may close.   For five consecutive summers, I worked as an assistant coach at a swim club. I coached swimming to children ages four through sixteen. I was responsible for creating practice plans, writing swim meet line-ups and giving critiques of strokes. I encouraged and instilled good sportsmanship and teamwork.
