In order to finish my teaching diploma at AUB, I was required to attend classes as an intern at the American Community School in order to apply some of the skills and concepts I learned during my academic year, which are how to: • Implement inquiry-based approach in my classroom that enhances intellectual and scientific knowledge and promotes critical thinking and reasoning process engagement. • Develop the students’ practical skills such as teamwork, communication, and reasoning, as well as critical awareness, autonomy, and creativity. • Train students to become capable of critical reflection, debate, and informed decision-making. • Encourage students to become active learners and enhance their metacognitive skills.
