Under the supervision of Team leader Technician Telecoms & network (Sometimes from Specialist and Engineer, based on Project and major problem), Carries out repairs, Maintenance. Responsibility : • Troubleshooting and repair PC ,notebook, printer, scanner, plotter, Hardware and software in Unocal Indonesia co. East Kalimantan. Main Office and Including All Rig, Platform and Barge. • Assignment with project to establish new peripheral on site, such as tarakan ,handil, and deep water project. • Check for implementation Microsoft update and the newest Patch, make report for virus infection, update antivirus pattern in every workstation of Unocal East Kalimantan. • Assist other section to complete their project that related to IT issue. Work closely with network section to troubleshoot and maintain network. • Provides direct support to the IS P/L Specialist in respect of all documentation and licensing requirements, control the movements, disposition and storage of telecommunication/electronics equipment. • Arrange distribution of telecommunication equipments and spares to operational location. • Maintain record of all telecommunications equipments. • Ensures correct and safe storage of all telecommunication equipments and spares, taking all necessary steps to prevent fire, damage, breakages and pilferage. • Preparing monthly back charge for telecommunication equipment usage (include : Handy Talky, Radio, Telephone, Hand phone, V-Sat). • Regularly physical check for all telecommunication equipments. • Ensures correct and safe storage of all IT equipments, spare parts and materials, taking all necessary steps to prevent fire, damage, breakages and pilferage. • Enforces the observance of all Company Rules and regulations, safety precautions / practices and good “ housekeeping”. • Assist in preparation of ARS ( Assistance Request) to BPMIGAS and Govt on “External “ telecomm matter e.g equipments purchase and relocation. • Ensuring, that all equipment (Radio Transceiver) is fully operational and documented for the annual inspection by BPMIGAS and Govt team.
