• Prepared plans & profiles for Capital Metro Transit Authority Pleasant Valley Corridor. Reviewed bus stop locations and adjusted the size and locations of shelters and platforms to minimize impacts, locating the bus pads per City of Austin standards, relocating impacted driveways, and locating new sidewalks and pedestrian ramps for connectivity to existing pedestrian pathways, etc. • Prepared maps for CapMetro Transportation Authority High Voltage Transmission Lines for the railroad. • Prepared plans & profiles, cross-sections, and typical sections for Houston Public Works drainage and paving projects. • Assisted the PE in designing water lines, sewer lines, and storm sewer drawings using Civil 3D. • Prepared required data for Houston public works projects (Driveway data, intersection grading, curb offsets, lateral profiles, and fence encroachments, etc.). • Prepared Traffic Control Plans for Paving and Drainage projects. • Prepared Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. • Prepared maps and reports for Metrorail East End Land Use Study. Used GIS to map land use in 1/2-mile radii around five of the line’s nine stations before the line was built and two years after. Also prepared maps for proposed and recent developments, trip generators, ramps, parking, and sidewalks. A conducted field study to verify land use, and prepared tables of land use summary statistics. • Directed the Traffic Noise Model analysis for TxDOT using TNM 2.5. Conducted the field study also Validated the Model using a sound level noise meter. • Directed and prepared Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports for several City of Houston, Harris County, and TxDOT projects. • Created Exhibits for TRC and Public Meetings. • Worked together with senior engineers in preparing proposals, scope, and level of effort for both engineering and environmental projects. • Prepared the layouts for one private helipad and one emergency helipad. Directed the approvals from Federal Aviation Agency.
