My role in this project was to launch a brand-new Reservations, Tele Sales, Space Control and Training organisation from the scratch, including negotiation and deployment of Travel Tech technologies - Central Reservations System, Space Control System, Departure Control System and partnerships with Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Galileo et al), as the founding Head Of the Department. The airline was later sold to private equity investors in 2004, renamed as SpiceJet and launched in LCC (Low Cost Carrier) segment. Initial roles with the mainstream airline division of British Airways (BA) - in international sales, flight operations and airport service delivery areas.
