  Was one of 18 students invited to X's headquarters to learn, build, and work closely with X’s moonshot project teams. I learned about X’s innovation process, networked with team leads from X projects, created very early prototypes in X’s labs, and learned a variety of different skill sets helpful to becoming radical innovators and moonshot takers. The experience culminated in my team pitching our moonshot to leadership at X, which included CEO Astro Teller and CTO Benoit Schillings. Our team focused on the problem of fast fashion/textile waste. We pitched a concept using nanoparticles to create color-changing and self-cleaning clothes, therefore reducing the volume of the average wardrobe.

  - Accelerator program where I started my work in emerging tech + entrepreneurship. -Created recommendations for and presented to Sidewalk Labs (proposal to reduce Toronto housing prices by 40% through co-living models and fractional ownership platforms), Kidogo (proposal to double the incomes of childcare workers in Kenya), XPRIZE (increasing submissions for their carbon capture prize by 1,000), Oxford Properties (decreasing unnecessary costs from architectural design errors) and more. -Created a pitch for TD Insurance to decrease claims payouts + save lives from distracted driving. Our team was awarded $12,000.-Learned frameworks to research the world's biggest problems (such as food waste) and to identify million/billion dollar problems in industries like law, banking, insurance, etc.
