Client DWP (Department of Work and Pensions, UK) Project CA (Carer’s Allowance) Duration January’10 – August’10 Role Tester In CA we follow V-Model. I performed Black Box Testing/Functional Testing by writing & executing test cases and also done bug tracking & reporting. I also performed functional testing with testing tool QTP. Description CA is a project through which the UK Govt. takes care of the people of UK by providing them allowance. The project revolves around the concept of providing allowance to the carer according to the care being provided to the individual who is ill. If the carer is retired and takes pension, then CA pays the pension + the difference of caring allowance and pension to the carer. But if the caring allowance is less than the pension, then the carer is provided caring allowance + difference of pension and caring allowance. Show less
