My Master Thesis is titled "Growth and characterization of organic heterostructures by AFM and Photoemission spectroscopy". In this thesis an analysis of PTCDI-C8 and DIP heterostructures (standalone molecules and horizontal and vertical architectures) was done by contact Atomic Force Microscopy. A height analysis was performed for all the different architectures, as well as an intermolecular distance measurement. Friction analysis was done as well by Lateral Force Microscopy and Transevers Shear Microscopy. Analysis of their electronic structure by X-Ray Photoemission Spectroscopy and Ultraviolet Photoemission Spectroscopy was performed as well, finding mainly Ionization Energy for the different Architectures.
