  I was pleased to be able finish my studies by diving deeper into the world of new nuclear. During my time in the R&D team at Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO, Olkiluoto), I concentrated on the small modular reactor designs that show the highest potential for Finland's decarbonization in the near future. Thesis topic: "The nuclear safety provisions of light water small modular reactors and their regulatory compatibility in Finland". I was pleased to be able finish my studies by diving deeper into the world of new nuclear.
