  The Curious Few is a digital marketing and communications consultancy for the built environment.Co-founded with partner Kimberley Anderson who brings 18+ years of marketing experience to the agency, we create impactful and engaging digital experiences that help businesses make meaningful connections with clients and attract new business.The consultancy was founded out of a desire to combine our years of industry experience and shared passion for architecture into a business we could call our own. We work remotely from various locations around the world, bringing in a team of UK-based digital, social media and SEO specialists when a project demands additional resources.Coming from an architectural background, I believe in the value of excellent design and as Lead Designer I lead the web design process, from briefing and concept generation through to application. My 20 year experience working in the construction industry puts me in the unique position of being able to understand and interpret client and audience needs, as well as having insight into the inner workings of architectural and design practices.Completed projects include brand development, website strategy, bespoke website development and digital engagement projects for clients across the UK, Europe and Asia.

  My role within Black Architecture was to resource and manage a team of architects so as to effectively coach, motivate and monitor their activities. The team was responsible for the design and delivery of a number of design projects within the required programme and budget. The role required me developing effective solutions to project challenges, to manage the sustainable input and assess the BREEAM ratings on all projects as to meet the aspirations of both the client and the practice. To provide leadership to the construction teams and to ensure each project is delivered as defined in the brief. Key to the role was to establish strong relationships with clients and to maintain their confidence in the design team and the quality of the work being delivered. I was also responsible for implementing Black Box, the companies QA system, which required me to monitor and maintain the practices objectives as set out in the ISO9001 & ISO14001 certification.
