      Having been nominated for the MDY Fellowship for my efforts in Mental Health and Wellbeing, throughout the year I worked on a project titled GauchoGoals that advances the goals of Academic Initiatives and Student Affairs by positively impacting the student experience. GauchoGoals consists of a project site on GauchoSpace (the most used online student resource) which means to promote a culture of health, happiness, and success for all students at UCSB.       As a CNI Fellow, I undertook a project to further the goals of the Carbon Neutrality Initiative set forth by Janet Napolitano in 2013, which aims to make the UC system carbon neutral by 2025. My project consisted in a Climate Action Framework for UC Santa Barbara's Housing & Residential Services, outlining the necessary steps to bring their Scope 1 and 2 emissions down to zero by 2025.
