We are closing the massive housing shortage in the US by introducing Apartments as a Product (AaaP). Villavo is vertically integrating real estate development, design, construction, manufacturing, and property management to shake up the construction industry and finally make manufacturing in construction stick. We are changing the outdated construction process one day at a time. We are doing so at the intersection of efficiency, safety and economies of scale. BMarko Structures is always looking for innovators who think unconventionally. We are changing the outdated construction process one day at a time. Jan 2014 - Jun 2014
Our mechanical engineering team was responsible for prototyping a tool to laterally reposition 2,000 lbs server cabinets in rooms housing hundreds of data servers. The tool was successfully developed during the 10 week long project from concept design to manufacturing. Upon the delivery of the prototype, deliverables included: user manual, complete 3D CAD models, full parts lists, as well as a full description of how to fabricate additional such tools in the future. Our project was to prototype a Segway-like “Mobile Inverted Pendulum” controlled by a smartphone. I 3D designed a universal case to accommodate all smartphones in the market and programmatically accessed smartphone data and sent it through the audio port to an Arduino that controls the wheels.
