      Joined as an Assistant Manager at the same time as the General Manager and helped rebuild the business. Within 3 months we had reduced complaints to an average of 1 a month and took Bill's Watford into the top 10 restaurants in Watford on TripAdvisor. I was the Christmas Co-Ordinator for 2016. We increased our covers by 10% from the previous years and received zero complaints for food and service. I also took on the bar management, where my responsibilities were to train new bartenders, ordering stock, controlling waste and weekly stock counts.       I worked here for almost 2 years, starting as a team member before being promoted to a Team Leader role. As a Team Leader, I was repsonsible for hiring new staff members and training them to the high standard we expected, as well general shift running responsibilities such as smooth running of shift, adhering to company standards, complaint handling and security of the building and money. My main role was Bookings Manager. This entailed organising all our functions in our function room as well as pre-orders for large parties in the restaurant area and those who wanted to book areas just for drinks. I also took on Christmas Co-Ordination the week before it started as the previous Co-Ordinator left the business. With very little time to prepare I managed to organise a succesful Christmas Day, with the most amount of covers the business had ever done. We also did the most of amount of Christmas meals in the first 2 weeks of the menu across the entire area. Show less
