Antonis came to GeoTerra to work as a contract geologist in late 2005. Several months later, we offered him a permanent laboratory scientist position responsible for Soil and Rock testing. Antonis helped me in maintaining our Quality System, the in-house calibrations, and training of junior laboratory personnel. He was also instrumental in our efforts to expand the range and types of materials testing that we do in GeoTerra. Over the years, Antonis became an invaluable member of our team, and proved to be a leader and mentor to junior members of our staff. His departure saddens me as I am losing a colleague and a friend but I am confident in him making the right choices.
