I'm currently the IT Manager for one of the largest Plumbing Manufacturer Rep Firms in SoCal/NorCal/Arizona/Nevada. We represent big lines such as Delta, Brizo, Rheem and RayPak. My everyday IT duties include System Administration and Bilingual Tech Support for all of our 100+ users. Not only that, but everyone here is in sales! It’s the only way we stay in business! I'm the lead for one of the biggest high end sinkware manufactures in the business. Oliveri. In my two years, we have completely overhauled all of our IT infrastructure: * Decommissioned all Win2k and Win2k3 servers. * Brought in new server hardware and network equipment. * Cisco Router and Layer 2 switches. * Complete network overhaul. Full POE at Gigabit speeds. * New site to site VPNs using OpenVPN. * Virtualized servers using ESXi. * New Active Directory using Server 2008R2. * ZFS storage (3x3 way mirror). * Complete removal of XP workstations. Full Win7 environment. * Horizon View with Unidesk Layering and Desktop Management. * Wyse thin clients. * Complete Exchange server migration to the cloud. * Brought in 100 Mbps fiber with DSL failover. * Decommissioned old Toshiba PBX and voice mail call logging servers. * New Asterisk/FreePBX phone system. * Full VoIP (SIP Trunk) with QoS and Yealink/Polycom Phones. * Deployed new businesses grade laptops for Outside Sales personnel. (HP and Dell). * Implemented new ticketing system. * Complete website overhaul.
