  During the period of my Master education, I was in a one year stay in the genetic department of the University of Seville under Professor Sebastián Chávez. Where I did my Master thesis “Genetic Analysis of the Transcribed Region of HIV in Saccharomyces Cerevisiae: search for factors that contribute to repressor activity in the 5´ end in basal transcription". In relation with this I worked with: Culture and gene modification of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. DNA/RNA Purification and quantification. Agarose gel electrophoresis. RNA expression analysis by RT-PCR (Lightcycler, Roche). RNA expression analysis by Northern Blotting. Show less
