  EJ are the worlds largest manufacturer in the drainage and access solutions field with offices based internationally - as a group we are over 125 years old.Calling on the knowledge and expertise of my colleagues around the globe, as well as my experience as Sales Engineer responsible for Scotland & the North of England for five years - we are market leaders and experts. My current position as Engineering Manger for the UK division of EJ requires that I travel where our engineering knowledge and expertise is required.Visiting site(s) to understand and define the clients needs and developing solutions (based on our manufacturing capabilities, European standards, budget etc). Using this information and working with our design teams in France, I then create our proposals and present our solution(s) to the client / designers for their consideration. My presentation skills are of a high standard and I regularly create and present technical / general presentations to consulting Engineers, Architects, Buyers and End Users.As a Design Engineer and CSCS certified, I act in a supporting role to our sales and design teams in both the UK & Ireland who require technical advice in order to determine the clients needs, identify a suitable solution and attend site visits and surveys if necessary.As head of Research & Development for the UK, I attend development meetings at our HQ near Paris every second month.Due to my technical understanding of the product and my fluency in French, Italian and Spanish I am often requested to create translations of our technical documents.As part of my natural drive for continuous improvement and innovation, I am glad to say that we have developed three new product ranges for the UK market and I am the originator of many product features as well as one patent.

  As a member of Fulcrum Connections (FC) Design & Quote Team, Licensed to work on Transco’s behalf, positioned in the CSOS4 team (Multiple Infrastructure). Our team specialised in the design of gas supplies for multiple premises. I soon realised that no 2 jobs are the same which allows me to learn & gain experience in a wide variety of gas related projects. While working with FC, I have gained considerable experience in compliance with current Legislation / Health & Safety standards & Audit purposes for Low Pressure (15 - 75mbar) / Medium Pressure (75 - 2Bar) & Intermediate (2 - 7Bar) Gas Systems (Infrastructure). I am frequently responsible for designing projects with values up to £300,000 and i was one of the main contacts for resolving OFGEM (Office For Gas & Electricity Markets) complaints regarding technical accuracy & pricing policies.
