As the person in charge of the National Phytosanitary Surveillance System, of the Plant Health Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Dominican Republic, we created and implemented the Phytosanitary Emergency Network of the Dominican Republic, the preventive trapping network for exotic pests not present in the Dominican Republic. We also work in the execution of international projects jointly with the regional offices of USDA-APHIS, OIRSA-RD and IICA-RD.
