I'm leading a team that is able to learn and adapt to meet the requisites of different clients. We worked with a lot of technologies to aiming to solve different problems in the best way possible. Worked on migrating legacy software to modern PWA using Ionic Framework along with React and Angular, which were connected to Azure Function APPs, Cosmos DB and SignalR to manage data.Created a desktop app using .NET that was able to do speech-to-speech and speech-to-text real-time translation using Azure Speech services, being able to integrate that application with Microsoft Teams.Redacted documentation and created samples for Azure AD B2C, to cover scenarios that weren't officially supported yet.Published samples using Azure PlayFab for gaming apps, which includes a sample to add multiplayer features to Player vs AI Tic-Tac-Toe, or the gamification of a Fantasy Soccer web application. The following repository contains all the samples that we worked on: https://github.com/southworks/playfab-samplesThe first of the samples we've done was endorsed by PlayFab's team: https://blog.playfab.com/blog/building-lobbies-with-azure-playfabNow we are working on another gaming workshop where we implement auto-scaling features to CS:GO servers that are connected to a matchmaking web application.Behind the scenes we are planning to deploy all the work in Azure AKS and Azure ACR, using Azure DevOps for CI/CD. I was part of a small team that was in charge of developing a web virtual assistant. For this, we had to use technologies like:- Microsoft LUIS and Microsoft QnA services for the natural language processors.- Azure Search Services as fallback when LUIS and QnA couldn’t understand the user requests.- .NET Framework and JQuery in the front end for the Web Chat.- .NET Core 2.2 and the Microsoft Bot Framework for the Web API that managed all bot’s logic.- Azure Cosmos DB to store the state of an ongoing conversation.- Redis services to consume live data for the bot’s responses.- Azure Application Insights to keep track of the performance of the application.- Azure Data Explorer to log conversation data that would help us debug previous conversations.- Azure DevOps to manage the CI/CD of many of the services we were using in this application. While we were working on this app, we’ve been in stretch contact with some of Microsoft’s teams to improve the performance of the app, to be able to support scenarios that weren’t supported by default on their service. I first started giving support to an insurance broker’s intranet that was developed with .NET Framework, and used Razor and NHibernate to manage the database data model. Simultaneously, we started to migrate some legacy desktop apps that were developed in ASP, into the .NET intranet web app. This included the redesign of the database model to improve performance and support the new model used in the web app. Also, I’ve been responsible for the development of the Web API for our own time tracker application (trackrstudio.com). This was developed using .NET Core 2.0 and Entity Framework Core connected to a PostgreSQL database. Additionally, I was trusted to develop a few internal POCs, which included the development of a web virtual assistant using OneReach (onereach.ai), that was also integrated with Facebook and Slack. My job was to create a new component for the internal website, that will manage all the internal news (presentism, vacations, etc) of the personnel using PHP and JavaScript vanilla. We had to persist and consume data from a SQL Server.Once we finished this, we started to develop a component with metrics that would help keeping track on the personnel’s status. This job was done using Laravel and Bootstrap 3 for the frontend, and a Web API developed with Java. We used Hibernate to manage all interactions with the SQL Server. Show less

My daily tasks consisted on giving support to the demands that the company employees might need, like configuring software, preparing meeting rooms or troubleshoot hardware issues. Also, we had to configure employees Active Directory accounts, along with their Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync (now Skype) accounts onto their computers. We worked monitoring the health of the network, the servers and the storage units that we had on premises. Finally, we worked on the cabling of new offices of both the electric and LAN network. I had to go from place to place making hardware and software maintenance on a variety of clients from personal houses to big companies. When I was on the office, I had to build PCs and install all the software the client required. Also, I had to diagnose faulty equipment and fix them when possible.
