During my placement year at Newcastle International Airport, I worked on a variety of projects ranging from route launches and price analysis to customer insight and customer relationship management.I was also given the opportunity to compile a collection of market research reports about different aspects of the industry; and create a comprehensive customer insight data pool for Newcastle International Airport, including demographic, geographic and physchographic information about passengers.Working in such a focused business has had an extremely positive impact on my work ethic; and being part of a team of passionate people has shown me the importance of loving what you do.As my placement year at Newcastle International came to a close I was approached by one of the Directors and an offer of employment was made. Therefore,I worked part-time at Newcastle International airport within the Marketing Department whilst studying for the final year of my degree.
