Undergraduate student researcher under Drs. Sani and Govil in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. Research area involves developing biodegradable PHA films for commercial agricultural use. Tasks so far include designing a procedure for the next phase of experiments on the existing research. Daily tasks included opening the main office and cash register, watering flowers and vegetable sprouts, potting and repotting flowers, planting vegetables, assisting customers in their purchases from start to finish (greeting, navigating around the greenhouse, differentiating between similar types of plants, checking out, transporting purchases between office and vehicle, etc.), and general cleaning and upkeep on the… Show more First official summer job, working as a caretaker at a local greenhouse.
