Job Description- Measuring and quantity surveying on various construction projects – Domestic and commercial – to start the quotation process, this includes costing, designing, manufacturing and assembly of all necessary components to complete the projects.- Completing a project from starting phase to completion as per quotation and customer accepted time line for the project. This includes sourcing, buying and assembly of materials, setting up various work teams if needed and personally, supervising every step of the project.- Performing the following duties/services either individually or as a project: Building, tiling, plumbing, electrical, built-in cupboards, ceilings, roofing, carpentry, painting, finishes. Anything related to constructing a building from foundation stage to completion.- Managing up to 35 workers and several teams as well as different work sites in busy times.- Administration and running of all admin related work, including running of bank accounts and all statutory requirements (SARS), also invoicing and receipting of payments, all monthly expenses, and salaries.- The Drawing of building plans for various projects using Revit 3D architectural this includes rendering 3D models for quotation purposes.- Active participation in the development of cost estimation and management software called Skybim which is used in conjunction with Revit 3D architectural.- I have extensive experience with electrical Eco conversions.
