      Natural Language Processing course [English] After introducing the necessary mathematical and algorithmic toolkits, we discuss string processing methods used in NLP and mainstream text representation methods. Then we focus on popular tasks such as language modeling, text classification, duplicate detection, text clustering and topic modeling, some of which are supplemented by assignments. After that, we learn modern distributional semantics approaches, POS-tagging, named entities recognition, syntax parsing and statistical machine translation elements. After finishing the course, one obtains the general view of natural language processing tasks landscape and hands-on experience of solving NLP problems. This course is a basis for advanced natural language processing courses (e.g. deep learning for NLP) and courses on information retrieval. Show less
