This is provided by our work experience program referred to as the Community Service Program. We place individuals into non-profit worksites to gain work experience. They may have been previously employed; are in between jobs or have little to no work experience and need to advance their skills. The ultimate goal is to get a job and become self-sufficient. In addition I am currently and continuously building working relationships with employers with hiring opportunities. I also along with other staff members host hiring events at our Goodwill locations two to three or more times a year. I am also in a partnership with the local Community College (SCC) and attend partnership meetings along with other county members. I enjoy my job and go above and beyond where I can to help someone guide (and or) become self-sufficient.
