  I am working to enhance racial equity within the manuscript review process by developing and launching aa community-centered manuscript review training program. In collaboration with the PREreview team, we are focused on providing early-career researchers with training and guidance to generate constructive, balanced, and mindful peer review's for scientific manuscripts.

  My dissertation work aims to utilize cell-specific genome-wide expression profiling to help identify mechanisms underlying the relationship between two different brain cells-neurons and oligodendrocytes. My work focuses on establishing transcriptional and translational profiles of oligodendrocyte cells through techniques involving RNA purification and sequencing.
