      Senior member of staff in Final Goods Inspection, part of the Quality Department reported directly to the Quality manager and Manufacturing Director. Responsible for a team of 5-8. Initially tasked with improving the efficiency and quality of Final Goods Inspection, responsible for adapting many of the processes and controlled documents for the operators, in particular the Inspection machine and the primary method of reporting results to ensure consistent, quality output. Extremely high throughput was consistently achieved to match the record revenue and sales achieved by the company during peak business periods.Main duties involved making decisions on day-to-day quality issues, planning shift timetables, checking the accuracy of paperwork both internally and incoming from other Departments. Reporting any more serious quality issues to the Quality Manager and when necessary, liaising with members of the Technical Department and Senior Managers. One of 4 users in the Quality department briefed and trained in the implementation of a new Material Requirements Planning (MRP) database. Responsible for training all new Inspection staff the implementation of two Inspection machines, which required writing several Standard Operating Procedures. As part of the Quality department's duties, trained as an Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2008) and tasked with planning the internal audit calendar for the whole company. The audit process covers all aspects of the company to ensure it is compliant with the Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety management systems to retain the ISO accreditation.Extra duties included attending staff meetings on behalf of the Quality department in the absence of the Quality Manager.
