A proud husband and father of two sons.I was born and raised on the North coast of Scotland, accountability and strong values were hardwired early. Filleting fish after school for my dad at twelve and on my first fishing boat in the North Sea at fourteen. My mum was a nurse, and the most empathetic and selfless person I know.After leaving school, I spent nine years (three of which were self-employed) processing, auctioneering, importing and exporting fish before buying a one-way ticket to Australia for both a professional and personal challenge.Twenty-one years later I’ve worked eight years as Matre’d at the Bennelong restaurant, where our service delivery had to be World Class, and thirteen years in Real Estate.Knowing the tremendous responsibility which comes with skippering a boat, the trust from the crew and their families is something I identify with, when navigating my clients through the process of selling, or my team members whose careers are under my guidance.Out of the office, I run, read, scuba dive and am an ambassador for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and support several charities.
