Mar 2022 - Present
In March 2022, I was promoted to a full-time position as a sports and news reporter. With this position, I continued to cover High School Prep Sports but instead of handing off the work to our sports anchor to voice and upload I was tasked with doing that. So now I voice all of the highlights that I produce and I also do SEO and Word Press work to upload the content to the website. Along with sports work, I'm also tasked with doing news stories. Similar to sports I'm sent a schedule every week and I'm assigned local news stories to cover. With this, I have to email and reach out to event organizers and set up times to get interviews and b-roll. After attending the event I write a script and I edit together a news package that I then post on our website through Word Press. Show less

Sports Videographer/Reporter
-
Aug 2019 - Mar 2022
Each week I was sent a schedule and I was assigned High School Prep Sporting events. I would go to the event, film the game, live tweet score updates, and then interview athletes/coaches. Afterward, I would return to the studio and edit a highlight video of the sporting event using Adobe Suites such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Bridge, and After Effects. We were also tasked to write a play-by-play script for our sports anchor to read when voicing the highlights.

Sep 2021 - May 2022
During my senior year of college, I joined the student ran a newspaper called NCC Linked-The Chronicle. There were multiple teams that I could join but I choose to join the sports team. Throughout the semester I had to write a certain amount of sports-related stories about the college's athletic teams. I had to research information about the teams and also set up interviews with coaches and players. I was also tasked with getting thumbnail pictures and uploading the content to Word Press. Radio Disc Jockey
-
Aug 2020 - Apr 2021
In college, I was a part of the school's radio station, WONC FM 89.1. During my time at the radio station, I got to be a radio disc jockey. This role included following a schedule and queueing up the music along with short ad breaks. Every half hour I got to go on air and talk about local news, weather, or really just talk about anything for a couple of minutes. I also got to answer the phone and take song requests.
